All of our elk and deer hunts
are conducted within the Routt and Arapaho National Forests located 25
Miles north – northwest of Granby, Colorado off State route
125.
Our hunting camp locations are
reached via a 7 -10 mile horseback ride which brings you into
the heart of Colorado’s Troublesome Basin
Unit 18, one of the state’s premier elk and deer hunting
units.
You will experience panoramic
views of timbered mountains, open parks, aspen and sagebrush
side hills, and peaks above tree line ranging from 7,500 feet
to 12,500 feet in elevation. The Troublesome basin
provides hunters with access to a variety of favorable terrain
that supplies high quality habitat for trophy elk and
deer.
Although we do everything we
can to assist each of our guests in having a successful hunt,
we can in no way guarantee each guest a trophy animal. However, those hunters
who are in good physical condition and are competent with
their weapon can greatly increase their chances of
success.
